Battle of the Books
Each year our Media Coordinator, Ms. Hall, leads a group of extraordinary students to the competition. The students are chosen in the Fall in order to prepare for the Battle of the Books competition in the Spring. Students must read books from a list that has been carefully created by the Battle of the Books committee. Students in the 4th and 5th grades are eligible to become a part of this outstanding team.

Safety Patrol
Our Safety Patrol teams rotate every 9 weeks. Students are nominated by their teachers to serve as Safety Patrols. Mrs. Zigmont is the coordinator for our Safety Patrol teams. Our students take this responsibility very seriously and work with everyone at MWES to ensure that our PBIS expectations are understood and implemented.
